Move a graphic dynamically with selected gallery item

Hello,
 
I am wanting to move an item by adjusting it's "Y" property in line with which ever item is selected in adjacent gallery.  Does anyone know if this is doable?  thanks

    Hi,
     
    Yes you would do.
     
    GalleryName.Selected.ControlNameThatIsSelected.Y
     
    Put that in the other control you want to adjust

    A picture outlining what you want to do would be helpful, but as Mike indicated, you can access the selected item in a gallery, then access the Y property of an element within the item selected, such as the image element and use to assign to an object in another place.
