Copilot Studio doesn't trigger "Force Newest Version"

Hi,
 
 
 
We are trying to use "Force Newest Version" feature while update our agent.
 
But after that when I open Teams (I even tried close/open app) it doesn't show any updates. Also tried to remove/add teams channel to trigger update
 
 
For that I have to go to Channels and click on "See agent in Teams", then it redirects me to Teams app and I see update button instead of open.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Imagine that this agent handles process of the whole company and in case of changes nobody will know it.
 
Do you have the same issue?

    Hi @njs1,

    This behavior is expected in Teams:


    • Updates don't show up in conversations that are already open. After publishing changes, users need to type "Start over" in the Teams chat to begin a new session and see the latest version.

    • Teams also caches content, so sometimes you'll need to sign out and back in (on desktop) or refresh the page (on web) to see the changes.

    • If you re-add the Teams channel and see an "Update now" button, clicking it will update and reinstall the agent in Teams.

    Studio says:
    Force the newest version for ongoing chats in persistent channels like Microsoft Teams.This ensures users in Teams receive your latest updates right away — but may disrupt any active conversations currently in progress.
    It means that it has to work even chat window is active.

    it will work and it will get updated but it takes much longer :)
