Hi,

When approving via Outlook (by clicking "Approve" or "Reject") the step "Start and Wait for Approval", sometimes we are redirected to an web page to approve or reject the section/step. Other times, the approval is done in the Outlook and it's done. How can I force the approval in the outlook and dont trigger the redirect?

Thank You 🙂

    Is everyone using the same version of Outlook?  This is usually caused by different (earlier) versions of Outlook that don't provide the same support for adaptive cards (the buttons).  In those cases it falls back to using an HTML link that takes you to the Flow approval page.  If they are using a version of Outlook that doesn't support adaptive cards this is the only way it will work.

    @Anonymous

    Also, apart from the version details shared by @Pstork1

    If approver is an external user, then they would be redirected to the Approval Center to approve/reject requests

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Please refer to the following link regarding the support of action cards in different mail clients:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/actionable-messages/#outlook-version-requirements-for-actionable-messages

    Besides, we also could complete the approval request in Approval email in Office 365 outlook web app.

    Best Regards,
