Disconnecting Flows from quarterly password changes

Hi Power Automate Community

Good day. I have a few flows that are used by everyone in my organization. However, password changes cause these flows to stop working. When I login, I get a "Reauthenticate" dialog box. On clicking that, I always get an error.

I sincerely hope MSFT fixes that.

Is there a way to disconnect the flows from frequent mandated password changes? How can I ensure that they continue to run

even if my O365 account password changes?

I will appreciate if anyone who has faced similar issues and found a solution can revert back.

Thanks

Nishi

    Hi @nishin1

By default, if the password of the account to which the flows are associated changes, the connections in the flows will have to be re authenticated. To overcome this, you could try setting up a service account and the IT admin can setup the service account in a way that it does not require the mandatory password changes as per policy. You can then setup the connections in the flows to the service account.

    Hope this Helps!
