I seems to have a disconnect with my BrowseGallery and Detail and Edit screen as the formula is giving an error. The formula currently is: BrowseGallery1.Selected.
I checked the datasources from both and they are the same. What else can be the issue?
Hi @Dinand
If you can please share the area and a screenshot. To me, if you set the datasources as the same, and you set the Edit forms Item to BrowserGallery.Selected it should work fine, unless of course there is no Gallery item selected.
Can you share the error and screen shots of your items/item and datdsources for all 3.
If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help othersCheersThank YouMichael Gernaey MCT | MCSE | MCP | Self-Contractor| Ex-Microsofthttps://gernaeysoftware.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelgernaey
Thank you for your support, I am including the screenshots. Unfortunately it is in Dutch, but hopefully still clear.
Hi @Dinand,
Try the following formula for Item property of your detail form and edit form:
Lookup(DataSource; ID=BrowseGallery1.Selected.ID)
Thank you for the feedback, but unfortunately I am still getting an error message, but now slightly different. It says "Incompatible types to compare. These types cannot be compared: Error, Number." Attached screenshot in Dutch as well.
HI @Dinand,
Could you please show me your formula in the formula bar?
Actually, ID column is a default primary key in SharePoint list, is your data source a SharePoint list?
