Fetch addresses for the specified company names from the large list in excel without using API key. as i am a beginner kindly help me with step by step instructions to follow.

expected output:

Even if we wanted to help you, I don't know what without API Key means. Also you haven't shared the file so there is no way for us to help you as we don't know what it looks like. YOu simply put the expected output.

Thank you for your response. I apologize for the confusion. When I mentioned "without using API key," I was referring to the Google Maps API, which requires a key for access. Specifically, I was looking at this URL:

https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/findplacefromtext/json?input=%CurrentCompany%&inputtype=textquery&fields=formatted_address&key=YOUR_API_KEY

As I don't have a license for the API key, I'm seeking alternative methods. I've attached the recommended file for your reference. To give you a better understanding of my requirement, I need to automate this process for around 100 Excel files, each containing a large list of company names. Your assistance in finding a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Can you please elaborate on your question? What information do you have in your Excel file? What webservice do you intend to call to retrieve address details? Note that public services such as Melissa.com, Data8 and more only offer paid versions for address validation. In that case, you need an API key which comes with a licensed subscription.

In case your Excel file only contains a company name, then there might be a lot of addresses or results from a webservice.

If you tell your requirement in detail, we can help you with a suggestion.

To elaborate, I have around 100 Excel files, each containing a list of company names (approximately 1,000-5,000 names per file). The company names are listed in Column A, and I need to fetch&fill the corresponding addresses and populate them in Column B, alongside each respective company name.

Since I don't have access to the Google Maps API key, I'm looking for alternative methods to achieve this. I'm open to exploring other web services or tools that can help me automate this process.

The expected output would be an additional column in the Excel file with the corresponding address(B) for each company name(A). If there are multiple addresses for a single company, it would be helpful to have all the addresses listed.

Example: Option 1:

Company Name(A)	Address(B)
ABC company	(fetch and fill the detail automatically)

Alternatively, if possible, I'd like to explore another option. If I enter an area name and city name (e.g., Tnagar, Chennai) in a cell (A1), Can we automatically extract/fetch the list of company names located in the specified area and city from the map and populate/fill them in cells B1, C1, D1, and so on?

Example : Option 2:

Area, City(A)	Company Name 1(B)	Company Name 2(C)
Tnagar, Chennai	(fetch and fill the company names located in Tnagar, Chennai)	(fetch and fill the company names located in Tnagar, Chennai)
