Powerapps android player shows new option for apps: "Open at startup"

Hello,

 

I just noticed in my android device that powarapps player version 3.24022.17 shows a new option when I enter in the detail/information screen for an app.

 

This new option is named "Open at startup" ... and I was wondering what is it for:

* I have activated it ... and it seams to do nothing special, even if I restart the powerapps player or reboot the phone (just in case it has an influence, my android device is configured with Intune MDM, and powerapps is installed on the "Work" partition)

* I googled for this option ... and found nothing specifically about it

 

If anyone knows what is it for ... please can you explain ?

    Hi @vllanso ,

     

    Once this feature is enabled, the Power Apps application on your phone will open this app by default when launched.

    Thanks @v-bofeng-msft for your answer.

    I have re-tested, and yes, the application you select as "Open at startup" will open as soon as you open the powerapps player.

    I have also tested that only one application can be marked as "Open at startup", and as soon as you try to mark a different one, you get a popup to confirm if you want to change the application to be started.

     

    I personally like better the option to create a shortcut on the initial screen ... but that is just my personal opinion.
