Item link opening in outlook when link clicked in email

Hello All,
 
This used to work earlier, but suddenly it stopped working.
 
When workflow sends an email with Item link
 
 
User gets an email and Teams Notification.
 
 
Link from teams is working fine, but link from email opens outlook

    This has been reported a number of times now in the forums. Microsoft is aware of this and is looking into the issue. It is something that Microsoft needs to fix on their end. They encourage people to submit a ticket directly to their support team through the admin center: https://admin.microsoft.com/. My ticket is still pending. Here is a link that contains more information in the Outlook forums: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/outlook-for-web-opens-sharepoint-link-as-new-email/057aa6e9-7fa0-46a2-adba-1de1a168623f.

    As I noted in my prior response, this is something that Microsoft needs to fix. Until then, there is nothing you can do to fix this on your end.
