Hi.

We are trying to power automate the forwarding of files from the first SharePoint folder to the second SharePoint folder, with or without attachments on each.

The files from the first folder were generated from users input. They are the ones who can see what they have uploaded.

It was done successfully; however, the attachment links in the second folder can't be opened. What seems to be the problem with them?

Hi There,

This can be a solution -
Start your flow with trigger 'When a file is created' on first SharePoint folder.
Then use 'Get Attachments' to get all attachments from new file. And use 'Copy Attachments' for each attachment and user 'get attachment content' to get it content and create new file using 'Create File' action in second folder.

User must have access to both folders.

Thanks, that's what we did. However, we still can't open the attachments in the second folder. Here's the flow.

Ok, what do you mean by can't open the link ? Is link corrupted or target file unreadable ? Are you able to open file manually from the destination folder?

Do you always use 'File content' dynamic content from "Get attachment content" for create or update file actions. Screen shows 'Body' but that can be PA display glitch when return to a flow edition.

Remark: with such trigger you don't need "Get item", item's field values are provided by trigger. You may use "Get change..." to détermine which field has been modified.
