Hello,
I have created a flow for a time off request form. I have set it to alert me when someone submits a request through Sharepoint and then I want to be able to see the request and approve it. The problem I'm having is that it's going to my Microsoft Teams and not my email. Does anyone know why?
Hi,
Any update about it?
thanks
I'm having the exact same problem. Is there a resolution?
I'm using the "Start and Wait for an Approval" action and the approval request is going to Teams and not to Outlook.
i tried doing that, but since our company's email address is synced with outlook and teams... it somehow just bypasses outlook and goes straight to teams. And that would be great, if everyone in the company used teams... but we also don't have the entire office 365 outlook/platform so i'm not sure if that's an issue with it
That's strange. In your flow I see the assigned to is the dynamic content Manager's email, I assume there is a SharePoint column names Manager's email and it contains manager's email addresses correct? Was the flow created in a Team's environment? Can you replace the dynamic content with your actual email address and see if the approval is sent to outlook instaed?
Yes, what I'm getting in teams is the request form to approve the time off. I was wondering why it would go to Teams and not Outlook itself?
@Anonymous What is being sent to Teams and not Outlook? The Approval email?
