Hi,

i do have somewhat of a complex task to solve, but in principle i only need to select pictures from files and upload to sharepoint. However, the setup of the app is as follows:

1. i have an sharepoint list item in Form view/edit mode coming from a gallery via displayitem. This item has 8 points which need to be filled out on this screen and then be saved to the list. Basically we are only modifying an already existing item.

2. Now i would like to add the option to upload a corresponding picture to each of the 8 points.

3. The pictures need to be uploaded BEFORE the modification of the item is submitted/saved -> there are several flows connected to the "submit" button and pdf's will be created. I want the pictures in the pdf's and accordingly the uploads need to happen prior to clicking submit.

In order to make above work, i believe i need to first upload the pictures and then get back the URL which will be saved in the sharepoint list of the modified item. Then i can easily create the flow and place the pictures to the corresponding point in the pdf.

Im not sure how to engage this issue in a smart way - can i place 8 "add picture" fields within the form itself and initiate the upload right after selecting the picture? remember i need to get the link back before submitting the whole form.

Then, i need to do this 8 times and get 8 unique links/names back which can be saved in this particular form as well (so the pdf can get the links and get the according pictures in the correct order etc).

Or should i make a separate screen for upload? ie from the form you have 8 buttons which directs you to 8 different screens for the picture uploads. Then after uploading you click "back" and get back to the form. Then in theory i should be able to pass back the picture link at the same time. However, in for this way im not sure if the form will keep the values of the previously selected displayitem or not. I think it should work, but not 100% sure.

Can someone share some advise so i wont start to work in a wrong direction? Or any better thoughts how to handle above mentioned issue?
