From Forms to a multi-person column in SharePoint with Power Automate.

Posted on by 107
Hello,

I need help with a Power Automate flow. The flow involves two 'multi-select person columns' in SharePoint. I'm trying to transfer responses from a Microsoft Form to these columns in a SharePoint list, but I'm encountering issues. Despite several attempts, I keep receiving an error. I'm not an expert in Power Automate, so I would appreciate any guidance on how to correctly set up this flow.

    Hello Deenuji_Loganathan,

I sincerely thank you in advance for your support!

Two workflows are needed. The first workflow should capture all responses from a Forms survey and enter them into SharePoint List A, then export them to an Excel file, and additionally send out an email notification. The Forms survey and SharePoint List A include multi-choice columns and person-type columns. The second workflow should be triggered as soon as the "Status" of an item in SharePoint List A is changed from "Pending" to "Approved". In this case, the relevant item should be copied exactly into SharePoint List B.

@Heidi04 It's hard to see where the issue is with the screenshot you've shared. Please click on each action to expand it and upload a screenshot of your flow with all actions expanded. Thx!

Hello, Thank you for the great video, but unfortunately, it's not working for me.

I have a forms where responses are being transferred to a SP-List A. Additionally, in this SP-List A, there is a category named "Status", and as soon as the status is set to "Approved", the list item should be copied to another SP-List B (booth lists are identical). Unfortunately, the multiple choice columns that are correctly filled in SP-List A are not being carried over the SP-B. How should I correctly set up the workflow to address this issue? Thank you so much!
