Hi All,

I'm quite new to Power Automate (Only used it for scheduling MS Teams messages with Tags)

I'm trying to automate an email being sent out when Column G on an excel sheet  titled "Quantity in Stock" reaches the value 2 or less,

I can't figure out the conditions or what I need to achieve this

As an example of the below; If Column G reached 2 then an email would be sent which would state "Quantity Low" - Order "Named item in Column D

Could anyone please assist / help ?

    Hi,

There isn't a specific trigger that can fire when this value changes, like Lists, but there is an effective way to do this.  I recommend you setup a scheduled flow that runs hourly and checks this value.  So your flow may look like this:

    Scheduled flow - Hourly
List rows present in a table
Condition - check if value in column G is <= 2
    For each - True
    Send email

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for the information, what you're suggesting would be fine, if Quantity in Stock reaches a value of less than 2 then an email is sent out to state this.

I'm struggling with the flow & the condition if you can assist or show what I'm doing wrong.....

Under the condition I've chosen the specific column name under Dynamic content and then to email, the flow runs but I receive no emails when it should as some of the stock levels are less than the value of 2

If i need to do it using the function command, then I'm unsure what the statement would need to be (Apologies)

    Hi,

It looks like your condition is the root cause.  Here you would enter 2 by itself, not with the <=.

    Hi Tom,

Issue appears to be resolved using an "is equal to" command, i used the dynamic content and entered the criteria of
"item('For_each')?['Remaining Stock Bal']" the 'For_Each' has an _ in as it has a space in the wording on the flow chart

This now runs and is usable & workable, flow will also attach the required spreadsheet prior to emailing

    Thanks for the assitance

@trice602 Since you have the trigger set as hourly, will it send you an email every hour as long as the condition is still true? Or once it sends the email once it will not resend?

I have mine set up for a different use case but don't want repeat emails necessarily, just the first notice.
