Hello Community!
I am currently working as a summer intern at a firm within the energy industry. I am in charge of streamlining the report-making processes, as theyre mainly done manually per now. To do this, it was decided to use the power apps, which i find really usefull.
I have made a couple of reports in Power BI, where i also have the option to export them (publish(?)) as interactive reports and as PDF if theyre static. This is all using the PPU license. In other words, i have the opportunity to export reports as PDF-files in the Power BI Desktop App. The problems arises when i try to automate it in combination with, for instance, emails. When i try to "Export to file for Power BI Reports" function in Power Automate, i get the message that the feature is not available or that there is no dedicated capacity to do this.
I can understand, somehow, that the feature for exporting Power BI reports as PBIX or interactive files should be on capacity, but i do not understand if exporting them as a PDF (as available in the desktop app itself on a PPU license) should cost 4995USD a month. As from what i understand, i will not share the PBIX-file as an interactive file but a generated PDF that do not necessarily needs a dedicated capacity as it will be sent as an attachment in the mail.
Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!
