I'm trying to create a field that can be a multiple select lookup, much like adding multiple contacts to a form record. I have found a few articles online that point to a field control you can add to a single line text field that will make it multi select lookup.
However, when I go to field properties in my model driven app that multiselect control is not available. Was this option removed or am I missing something?

You can use a Choice field and multiple select.

Hi @boyerj ,
Before using this pcf control, please install it in your environment first.

Download this .zip file and install it into your solution.
Best Regards,
Wearsky
Thank you Wearsky. Any chance you know of any user guide for this version of the control? Having some trouble actually using it.
Hello Wearsky,
The download is a managed solution zip file. How can we use it if its not unmanaged? Ive imported into my environment as a solution but I cant add anything to that solution due to it be managed.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Hunter
Sorry, I've never used it and don't have a guide for it.
Maybe you can try to contact the creator of this code component.
Unfortunately, you cannot add any new components to a managed solution.
I am currently using the multi-select choice column in one of my main forms. However, the feedback from one of the testers, is that she does like default behaviour whereby you need to click or tab away for the selected choices to be confirmed. She would prefer an explicit ok or cancel button. In this case, will I need to create a new PCF control from the source of one of existing controls in the PCF gallery e.g. React Fluent UI Virtual Multi Select Dropdown | PCF Gallery?
