Increment of Variable

Hello all 🤗

I am fairly new to Power Automate and tried to make a flow which runs every 2 weeks on Monday where it runs every day until Friday (using incrementing variable and a 'Do Until'), delays 2 days (starts the following Monday) then runs until that Friday.

I have an issue where the flow doesn't appear to do the delay within the 'Do until' as it runs, creates the SharePoint item then starts the delay for 2 days.

Any ideas?

    Hi @Anonymous

Don't use delays. The Power Automate should start and end as fast as possible to avoid issues.

Try this schedule to see if it fits. It runs every two weeks on weekdays.

    Is this what you need?

    Hello @manuelstgomes

I was using the delay as this was managing our Rota so that it would start on Monday for Week 1 and create a SharePoint Item for me to say I am on Reporting, then it would add 1 to the variable which starts at 0 then delay one day. It would do this until it was Friday when the variable is equal to 5  which is the condition for the 'Do Until'.

This would then trigger a delay for 2 days until it is Monday for Week 2 then repeat above i.e. create SharePoint Item for me to say I am on Emails, then add 1 to a new variable which starts at 0 etc.

Unless there is a better way as we did used to have it as:

    Start Monday every 2 weeks

Create Item in SharePoint > Delay 1 Day > Create Item in SharePoint ... until friday > Delay 2 Days

    Hi @Anonymous,

Have you changed the limit of the Do until duration?

The default set duration of Do until action is PT1H, 1 hour, after one hour runs, it will end.

If you want it could keep run 7 days, you could set it to P7DT:
