Modern Radio Control have extra radio when blank value is set as default

I have several modern radio buttons on my screen and I am not using EditFrom control. I am patching these values to SharePoint list on click of a button. Despite resetting these radio button controls after successful patch, few values still retain their previous selections. And when I set the default value to blank record using {}, they are shown as extra radio button for the blank choice, something like below.

This is what I got for DefaultSelectedItems property

Coalesce(gbl_SelectedRequest.Urgency,{})

I have below in items property of the radio control

Choices('SPM Update Requests List'.Urgency)

Likewise I have several other radio control whose DefaultSelectedItems property set to similar formula and when the variable is blank, there is extra radio showing up without any value. Is this still a bug on Modern Radio control which is not in preview anymore? What can be done with this issue?

I could not reproduce your issue, could you share complete steps to reproduce your issue with Modern Radio control?

hey

as of now modern controls do not bring joy, they are still in preview and not really here to use them in productive apps.

they are buggy as u can see in your scenario and there is not really a fix for these issues. try the same with classic ones and i will be sure it works as you want

I'm not able to reproduce this issue.

Instead of blanking the selection with {}, perhaps specifying Blank() could work more reliably.

Coalesce(gbl_SelectedRequest.Urgency, Blank())
