Variable Failed to Return Value in Posted Message with Variables('varVariable')

Hi Community,

I created a test flow to post a message in a Team chat if I am working in the office (via lookup my outlook calendar daily and if I have "WFO" event that day).  The flow ran successfully except the variable of the office number I booked (based on my outlook WFO event location booking) failed to return the string of office number, it posted the variable expression as is.  I am not sure if that's because limitation of message posting in Teams or I need to write the expression differently.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Please see screengrabs attached for the flow and the output result.

Many thanks,

S

    Hi @sc0rpiongirl

Instead of taking it as expression, try to take that value from dynamic content and see if it works

Thank you for the prompt reply!  The challenge is Location is not showing up as dynamic content because the way I needed to set up the flow.  I wanted to filter daily calendar event to find if I have an event subjected WFO, and if there is, post a message in Teams.  But after using Filter array to filter out event subject eq WFO, only body is showing as dynamic content, all other event details aren't there.  That's the reason I set Location as a variable and hopefully to take it out and insert into the posted message.

Thank you for your direction 🙂  I gave it a try but the output result is similar to when I used variable to pull the Location :/...See the flow and output result below...(and yes the flow is set up as a scheduled flow)
