Hi!

Starting with an Excel table containing customer code, name, and comments, how could I create a flow that looks for certain words in the comment field and copies that field along with the customer code and name fields to another Excel table?

Thanks in advance

You should be able to do this with a Filter array action to filter your Excel items to just the ones containing your given word(s) and a Create row action.

If you have a lot of data & performance or speed is an issue, then I can also suggest some more complicated set-ups to deal with that.

    Hi takolota!

Thanks for your answer and your time.

I really don't have the knowledge to implement your solution. Could you give me an example?

    Regards

After your Excel action use a Filter array action & set the condition with the dynamic content for your comment field, use the contains condition, & type in the word(s) you are searching for in the right side of the condition.

Then use the Parse JSON action to parse the JSON.

You may need to run the flow once to let it fail so you can grab the JSON output from the Filter array action & then go back to the edit screen to use that JSON as the schema example in the Parse JSON action.

Then you should have the fields as dynamic content in your dynamic content window & you can create rows like you normally would from that.
