Extract data from txt file and copy to Excel

We use an emissions modeling software that generates a report in the form of a txt file. I am looking for a way to use PA Desktop to extract the data points from this file and input them into an excel table.  Below is a screenshot of the generated report. For example, I would like to extract each tons/yr for each section. What is the best way to isolate each string and write to an excel file?

    Hi @kaufmanj90

I'd go for something like this:

    • Read the file as a list
    • Iterate through its rows
    • "Filter" the rows of interest
    • Gets the desired value
    • Write to Excel

    Here's a sample flow:

One option can be to use the AI Builder GPT action to extract the data from the txt file. Here is a demo video: Power Automate for Desktop with GPT on Azure OpenAI Service - YouTube

Perhaps it would be easier to import the txt file directly in Excel.
