File viewer name in sharePoint document library.

Want to extract the file viewer name in sharepoint document library custom column name 'viewed by'. where all viewer name will store. and then i want to extract a specific reader name. if he read. then the file status will changed from 'Unread' to 'read'. Can any one help me?

    What type of column are you using for viewed by? Is that a person or group type of column which allows multiple selections?
