Hi Everyone,

I was looking for approx. how many credits would be required for training & Extracting data from invoices for 15 different. templates.

Number of Maximum Invoice on Monthly basis: 600-800

Number of pages in each invoice: somewhat between 1-4 pages

Number of fields to extract: 18.

Any lead/Guidance would be appreciated.

I have also referred the link https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/ai-builder-calculator/#footnote-3 I am struggling to work out how many credits this should require as the Calculator is not getting me close to what i need.

For each $500 per month purchase of the AI credits add on you can process up to 30,000 pages of invoices.

Alternatively, there is a new set-up using GPT that can also extract data from invoices: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Cookbook/Extract-Data-From-PDFs-and-Images-With-GPT/td-p/2201345

Now this set-up should be able to handle your likely 1200 pages of invoices with only 1-3 $15 premium Power Automate licenses each with 5000 ai credits per month. That is if Microsoft sticks to charging something in the 1-3x the equivalent credits of $.003 per 4000 GPT prompt characters usually charged for GPT services. If they start to charge more than that, then with an Azure account there is still a way to set up a GPT service in Azure to do the same thing for the $.003 per 4000 characters price, it just will take extra work.

Please check out the AI Builder rate card in the Power Platform Licensing Guide.

As of today, if you can use the prebuilt invoice processing model, it uses 32 credits per page. If you must use a custom document processing model, then it will use up 100 credits per page.
