hi, can someone help me with my problem? I got a Microsoft Forms questionnaire and it is possible to upload a business card there. I want to create an automation: When the questionnaire is dispensed that if a business card was uploaded, it gets read by the ai builder and the information is put into a excel table. The issue is that i cannot set where the ai builder gets the picture of the business card from. Can someone help me please? is it possible to do this with an expression?

I got the excel setup with the ai reader that if i upload a business card manually it does read and fill it into an excel table, now i want to automate the process that i dont have to put in the picture of the business card there manually.

The best solution would be if i could choose the row in Microsoft forms where the business card is uploaded

This will be used in industrial fairs

I hope my issue is understandable !

I appreciate every help

Thanks alot

    Hello @ArchitectMadhan.

Thank you so much for you help. I really appreciate it.

I tried to follow your steps but some questions occurred.

This are the first steps of the Flow

    Automate1.PNG

    So,

    1. A new Microsoft Forms response is submitted

    2. It goes to one drive for business and finds files in folder by path.

here I think I did something wrong.

    i got the two options

    findfiles.PNG

and both times it opens the Search Query where i can only set the Forms Response id

    responseid.PNG

    Is this good?

after that i setup a Apply to each and it shows the row:

    applytoeach.PNG

Where i have a lot of options to choose from

    qwe.PNG

    now comes the last part.

    if no stays empty

    and if yes:

    1. Get File contet

    2. Read business card information from AI

    3. Add a row into a table with the setup excel sheet

I think i messed it up in the second step where you said

    2. "Find Files from OneDrive for Business" - use the form field values to identify the right image file (BC)

Can you help me and give me some corrections?

    Thanks alot

    Hi @Mcwhity ,

If you are using the "File Upload" control in your "MS Form" then it would have mentioned about the "OneDrive for Business" where the file will be stored. Check for the "OneDrive" icon from your Office 365 as shown below.

    ArchitectMadhan_0-1664372069021.png

then navigate to the path as shown below till you see the uploaded business card is seen in a folder within OneDrive.

All your business card would have been copied in the folder with the name Question.

In Power Automate you need to use the below actions:

    1. Trigger from MS Form

    2. "Find Files from OneDrive for Business" - use the form field values to identify the right image file (BC)

    3. "Apply to each" for the selected file

    4. If condition to check whether the filename is not empty or null.

    5. If yes, then "Get file content from OneDrive for business" to use it in the AI Builder action

    6. "AI Builder" for Business card information

    7. "Add a row to the table" in Excel Online(Business) - (you should have already updated an excel file with fields that you need and mark the table in it, then upload it in OneDrive)

Finally save the flow and Fill the MS Form along with the Business Card upload. Now you should be able to get the data in Excel sheet that you have stored in OneDrive.
