Virus attachment in email

I have a flow which saves automaticly  the email attachments in a map in one drive.

If I receive a suspected email in th In box with a virus contained zip file what is this flow doing?  Will the suspected attachment arrive in this map with the risk of opening it?  We still receive suspected emails so now and then.

Suspicous emails are not stored in the inbox but in the unwanted email box. So I hope that the virusdetection of outlook office 365 is working properly. If so, there is no problem. The suspicous email zip files may not be opened. I did it once and luckaly mc Afee did put the file in quarantaine otherwise the computer was infected. Lessons learned. Never use office 365 without a professional virus detection program.

    Hi Wilver68,

It seems that currently we are not able to use flow to detect and kill attachment virus, all the files can be saved to OneDrive, including a virus contained zip file.

If the virus contained zip file always contain some special words, you could consider to add a condition and configure it looks like “Attachment Name contains” or “Attachment Name doesn’t contain” to avoid saving the virus files.

Please have a try with this, and feel free reply if you need more help.

    Best regards,
