Hello

I have some issues with 2 external users where when they attempt to access a canvas app which has been shared with them via an AAD group and that same AAD group is added to SP they get the following error:

We weren't able to add this connection:

Got them to delete cookies and then they get this:

Both users have accepted the B2B invitation

I have checked both the users are in the correct AAD group (same AAD group used for both Power Apps and SP)
I can see both accounts in AAD (possibly nothing, but the )
I have checked in SP that they are appearing as having the correct access to the associated SP list.

Got them to delete cookies and restarting browser

Checked they are not in the User Info List in SP

It appears to me to be a local issue, but out of ideas of what to try next?

    Hello @Lefty

Currently you cannot share Power Apps with external users. I’m guessing your adding them as guest users?

please keep in mind their email addresses:

If the guest is already part of their own company’s Office 365 tenant, and their user license already includes SharePoint/PowerApps, then they can have access to your tenant’s.  But if the user is just a yahoo or gmail or some other email address that’s not in Office 365, then that user will need to have/create a personal Microsoft account, AND you’ll have to use one of your tenant’s licenses for that person’s guest account.

Im curious to know if you add them to the App and SharePoint directly without going through the AAD Group. Is the results the same?

Yes correct, The users are being added in to our AAD as guest - then added to the AAD group.

The external users are corporate accounts and have the required license assigned to there emails at there company end.

Yes it makes no difference if i grant them explicit access to both PA and SP

I have found a lot of times these are local issues and as they are external users, its not always simple troubleshooting such issues.

But i'm curious if I need to go down a different approach and the guess/AAD group is not the best option?

    Thanks

    I'm running into a similar issue: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Dataverse-Connector-Error-For-Guest-Users/m-p/2295996#M574273

Was there any resolution to this?
