Hello Team,

I have to create a flow which will enable me to update the column of the A SharePoint List based on the column of the B SharePoint List.

We have a SharePoint List where we save the details of the complainants. This list has about 1000 records.

and we have a second SharePoint List where we save the details of the complaint which also has about 1000 records.

What I have to do is to create two new columns in the second SharePoint List with the Forename and Surename and based on the ID of the first sharepoint list the flow to populate the right values under the Forename and Surname columns. In the second list I have the complainant_id column.

Would you be able to help me with this one?

Many Thanks

Can you not just add a Lookup column from List B to List A, and include the ID, Forname and Surname as part of the Lookup column? This way you can select the ID and the Forname and Surname will appear automatically without the need for a flow.

If you want an example let me know - just off to sleep now as past midnight where I am 🙂

@grantjenkins Can you please provide an example for the example you have mentioned above!

It would be good to have an option to do this without having to use a flow.
