Cannot add SQL Server or Azure Blob connector to Power Automate Desktop

Hi,

I'm trying to build a desktop flow for SQL Server backups using SQL Server connector and Azure Blob connectors. I have Power Automate Premium and am also a Power Platform Administrator.

However, when trying to add these connectors, it says
"Could not include assets
One or more assets violate the guidelines for inclusion in desktop flows. Contact the authors or your organization administrator
Error details: The connector 'SQL Server' is currently not supported".

This appears strange - I can add MySQL, Postgres connectors; I can also add Azure Files connector. I also cannot see anything in the administration area that excludes these connectors.

Does anyone have any ideas?
I have the same question (0)

    Thanks for your suggestions @MS.Ragavendar

Sorry for the slight delay in trying them - first there was Easter, then there was the stuff to catch up after Easter.

I have looked at and tried both approaches you mentioned. Unfortunately,
    * The first one refers to CData Connect Cloud, which I don't have access to - I have the premium connections that come with Power Automate Premium.
    * The second one refers to Cloud Flows, not desktop flows. I can add these connectors in the Cloud Flows, but I need them in Desktop Flows - which is where I get the error.

Are there any other suggestions e.g., is there some place in the Power Platform admin center that (by default) stops SQL Server and Azure Blob connectors being used with Desktop Flows? I have added a screengrab when attempting with SQL Server - note that I could add the 'Azure SQL Data Warehouse' connector without issue.

    Thanks!

    No worries, belated easter greetings.!

I could see the connector itself giving you error and I tried to follow the below video to connect the sql server with Desktop (https://youtu.be/_rgHDiaJBds) can you please check.

Also Microsoft stating this regarding the authentication.

Thanks for this (and once again, sorry for the late reply).

The link is a bit strange - talking about SSMS as a database - but their workaround works: use the basic 'SQL' connector rather than SQL server.

I'm guessing it's less streamlined than a specific SQL Server connector would be, but if it works, it will do.

    Thanks,
    Sean
