Syntex form processing created list (not document) content type

Hi all,

Yesterday I have activated form processing on a library, build a model "Eingangsrechnung" with a collection, trained and published it. When I upload a doc to the library the fields are being read correctly and the columns are populated.

So far so good.

But here's my issue:

the content type of the uploaded document remains "Document". It does not switch to the "Eingangsrechnung" content type.

I have investigated and found that there is a site content type "Eingangsrechnung" (in the group "Intelligent Document Content Types") which has "Item" as parent:

So this is - despite being listed as document content type - a list content type. Which therefor can'b be used in a library.

I all my previous attemps by building a model I have created a new content type with parent "Document" which then had been automatically added to my form processed library.

Only difference this time is that I'm not (and can't be) site collection admin. I have full control in the site with the library which is a subsite. In the root site I have no access at all.

Now to you guys:

  • Have you seen this happening before?
  • Do you know how to fix it?
  • Could this be a permission issue with the root site?

Thanking you in advance! 😊

Stefan

    Hi @swk ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This is a know issue, a fix is ongoing and should be deployed in June.

Unfortunately there is no way to solve that in the meantime.

Let us know if we can help further.

    Thanks.
