Can I add a Microsoft Workflow to a Tasklist? I want my manager to be alreted when someone signs off on a tasks so she knows the task has been resolved.

So far everytime I select workflow it takes me to the sharepoint designer workflow which I don't know how to work with.

I'm afraid your question is a little confusing, as it seems you are interchanging Microsoft Flow, with SharePoint Workflow. Could you be more specific? Also, what kind of task list are you speaking of?

There are tasks lists in Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Planner, Trello and many other platforms that have Flow connectors. Please be as thorough and as detailed as possible in your response, so we may better assist you.

Let me rephrase, I apologize I am very new to sharepoint and microsoft flow and learning by the day.

I need to set up a flow that alerts "someone" when a file has been added, which I figured out. But also at the same time I need it to somewhere in the folder or elsewhere to alert us that the task connected to certain file has been resolved. Like a task sign off list within the folder. But maybe I am looking for something that doesnt exist?

    Hi @Nebulosa ,

If you would like to send out a notification to the manager when a task has been resolved, please check if the following flow will work for you.

By the way, when working with SharePoint Standard lists, such as Tasks, Calendar, Contacts, etc., you need to enter the exact list into the List name field manually by clicking Enter custom value.

After the trigger When an item is created or modified, add a Condition to check if the Task status is equal to Completed. If yes, send out an email.

    Best regards,
