The Barcode Scanner control has stopped working on my Android phone.

When I began developing this App, the Barcode Scanner control worked fine. Now, it no longer works. All I see is a single line across the middle of the screen. Before it was reading QR codes.

I am using Android 8.1.0

What's changed?

 

Update: The Camera control no longer works either. Just a black square.

 

Update: Both Camera and Barcode Scanner work fine on Android 7.0

    it works a bit different these days but is much better than what we have initially. When you insert the control, it places a button like control.

    @summitb  the BarcodeScanner control does not work at all on many of our Android devices.
