Have built a flow from watching YouTube but it's sending emails to the wrong email address

HI All,

I have no experience with using Power Automate but wanted to use it to set up automatic emails reminders for 3 month and 6 month employee check-in's.

I watched a YouTube vid and managed to get the flow set up and working... so I thought.

Something appears to be wrong with something in the flow, as the emails seem to be firing off reminders for all employees on a particular day to both email addresses.

So using the data below as an example there are 6 employees that need to be sent a reminder on the 24/7.

What is happening is that all 6 reminders are being sent to both email address 1 and email address two rather than only the applicable email for that line of data.

Does anyone have a flow that would do what I need? or could help my with my current flow?

Thanks in advance.

A.

    Hi @NeedHelpAussie

I would take a huge guess, but there are just too many things that could be wrong.

    1. Do you have a filter on your list rows, to only give you people back that have something on that day?

    2. What is the Select doing (I know what it does, I'm asking what you are doing)

    3. What is the compose

    4.  What emails are you talking about I dont see any emails? (addresses that is) so I have no idea what 1 versus 2 is.

Actually lol you gotta share all your Actions code. Its create I see the flow, but I need to understand why you have 2 Apply to eachs, as I would only expect one.

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    Hi @FLMike,

    Thanks for trying to help!

I have a filter on that pulls the date the email is to be sent out- so 3 months after their start date

    Select is doing this

    COmpose has this

    NeedHelpAussie_2-1697433863978.png

I think you wanted this too?

In reference to the emails I just deleted the actual email addresses for privacy reasons and added email 1 and 2.

The emails send out fine and look great- it is just that both email address 1 and email address 2 are receiving 6 emails each for that day. I only want the emails to be sent to the email address listed for that particular entry.

    Cheers,

    A

    Hi @NeedHelpAussie ,

Do you want to the emails to be sent to the email address listed for that particular entry?

If so, I did a test for your reference.

    In my scenario:
