I want to enable approval for custom documents of Business Central via Teams or Outlook, similar to how Purchase Orders work using Power Automate in Business Central.
In Power Automate, there are existing OOTB templates available for Purchase Orders and Sales Orders (e.g., Request and notify of approval for Business Central purchase order). I tried customizing this by exposing my own external event for Custom document, but it didn’t work as expected.
Has anyone implemented this functionality or has any ideas on how to achieve it?
I am assuming you are using a Flow template and something worked, and when you try to customize it, it doesn't.
So first is more details and screenshot of what is working, and also the flow that you customized and didn't work, screenshot edit mode and run history of the action that didn't work.
