This Odata Filter Query is an enigma

 I'm using an action get files (properties only). Tried using the filter to get files with name that starts with '3_JSON-'.

Here's a list of what I have tried. None worked.

{IsFolder} eq false ==> no such column

startswith('Title','3_JSON-') ===> usage is invalid

substringof('Title','3_JSON-') ===> usage is invalid

Why can't Microsoft show us some working examples and what kind of columns we can grab?

    If you wat to check the File name thing you should do it like this

    FileLeafRef eq 'filename.ext'

    This will help you filter properly. Just as a test, go ahead and hard code one name and it will find it

    then you can add your other details to filter with.

    if this helps, please Mark as such and maybe a like :-)

    The result is empty:

        "body": {
            "@odata.nextLink""https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
            "value": []
        }

    Does the Odata filter also work on subfolders?

    Thanks, everyone! I've found my answer. My library is very big, so I had to turn on the pagination and set it to maximum 5,000.

    But, it takes very long to run. Is there another way get the files using other connectors?

    Hi

    I think the following should work.

    startswith(FileLeafRef,'3_JSON-')

    It does if you have it set to yes.

    Right now my goal is to get you understanding how this work and to get one file back. By default is it on.

    So depending on what you typed, versus what the real file name is.

    In the end the FileLeafRef is what you need to use. If you are intentionally picking a file in a subfolder, don't for testing. I want you to see it work. Just too many details not being shared (never mentioned sub folders) .

    So please try it without the subfolder, and use the Leaf or whatever
