Power Automate Desktop RAM usage

Hi all,

we have a Windows Server 2019 with 16gb RAM.

Some Desktop flows are running over the day, but non of them is running the hole day.. just 1-20minutes.

Though the RAM is always 99% full.. 6gb only for power automate.

Is there a option to free the ram after running the flows.. or limit ram for Power Automate Desktop?

Thanks!

Steffen

    Hi @SteffenHNW

    I don't see this issue, Server  2019 Datacenter, different boxes with 8gb - are usually free for most of the time, if no chrome etc ;).

    Have the same issue on 2 computers with Windows 10. After restart they can do some flows for few minutes, and then stuck with high RAM usage and do nothing. Waiting for response from support.

    @michalot

    It's better when you restart and start the flows, you need to see what and all background apps are triggering and consuming the RAM power, It could be other background apps where you may take a look and if those are not required then you can uninstall them

    Thanks,

    Srini

    Hi, do you find a solution yet? i have the same issue with to different machines one with Windows 11 22H2 build 22621.1702 and another with windows server 2019 version 1809 build 17763.4377

    When i open PAD, after a few minutes the services UIFlowService (Power Automate Service) and often Microsoft.Flow.RPA.UpdateService (Power automate update service) are consuming all ram available in machine.
