Nintex workflow export to Power Automate

Hi All,

I know there was an answer to my question 2 years back. I am not sure if anything has changed since then and some solution is now available to migrate Nintex Workflows to their equivalent in Power Automate.

Is there at least a way to translate the Nintex Workflow items to Power Automate? I did export a Nintex workflow with a nwf extension.

New to this , any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

We use Nintex and Power Automate where I work and have found no way to do this. I would suggest that since you need to build the flows from scratch in Power Automate, take the time to evaluate the Nintex flows to see how you can enhance or improve them now that you are moving them to Power Automate. If you are going from Nintex 365, where flows can basically run forever (or 2026 when they'll stop working because of being deprecated) or Nintex Cloud where a flow can run for a max of 1 year, keep in mind that Power Automate flows need to complete within 30 days and approvals need to complete within 28. You'll find you need to take a whole new approach to workflow development when going from Nintex to Power Automate.

I have migrated over 100 flows from Nintex to Power Automate. It will take some adjusting and creative thinking, but it can be done. And for many of the migrations, I have added features and enhancements to the processes because of the switch. One of the biggest pain points will be between how Nintex handles approvals with all its built-in features to handle escalations and reminders, and custom approval forms, to how Power Automate approvals work. With Nintex Cloud you can designate business owners of the flows so they can reassign an approval task. In Power Automate, only the person who you assign the task to can reassign it, which to me makes no sense.
