hello Gang, using the attached workflow i can't get the subject line as an option in the dynamic content

I would like to initiate a variable for the subject line and then be able to use substring to extract

Hoping to extract the 780449HDCT and the date 20230821 from the subject line - 780449HDCT_ServReq_1-549147422411_20230821

Hi @vandam2 ,

Please use the folllowing compose actions:

split(variables('test1'), '_')[0]

split(variables('test1'), '_')[sub(length(split(variables('test1'), '_')), 1)]

do you know what action i need to be able to find the 'Subject' as a dynamic content option? (so i can save it to a variable)

Hi @vandam2 ,

Yes, your Subject is going to be dynamic content from your Trigger. You may need to search for it but it will be there.

unfortunately not because i am having them send to office 365 group

there are lots to choose from but not 'subject' lol

Understood. Add 1 and then 2. before we try to capture the individual values. These two right after your trigger.

So strange because i still don't see the option to pull the subject, shouldn't i be able to just initiate a variable for 'Subject' ?
