Hi All,

I am trying to use the Post an Adaptive Card to a Teams user and wait for a response action in a flow, however I can't seem to edit the json data for allow for dynamic content.

Has anyone had any success with this and/or know of another way of adding dynamic content to this action?

Thank you,

Sean

Hi there.  Check out this blog I did a while ago on bringing Yelp data into an adaptive card.  If anything, there should be some useful links in there for you.

    Keep us posted.

    Hi Ed,

Unfortunately, using a third party service is not a viable solution.

The issue currently is that I can no longer access the json editor through the previously mentioned action.

Have you tried running a Parse Json on the outputs of the 'Post AC and wait...'

I've also had success in writing a function to hit data that I couldn't find in the dynamic content with an

    `outputs('<nameofaction>')?['body']?['data']?['<nameofID<']`

Let me know if this helps.

I'm wondering if you found a solution for this. I have a similar problem that I've posted here https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Post-an-Adaptive-Card-to-Teams-gt-Update-File-Properties-id-is/m-p/752092/

@anthonys123  I replied on your thread with what should work as a solution to this.

So I was having a similar issue, and found an upsettingly simple fix.

If you create a string variable, place that in your adaptive card, and update the variable before the card posts you can have dynamic language. Tested it and it works for me.
