Hi, when I open the Form of a row and I mistakenly chose a date into a date field - how do I unchoose the date? The user wonders and I am also not finding how to do it. Somehow this is quite basic functionality I hoped would be there...

Or can we only do it with a canvas app or flow?

In the Model Driven and Canvas Applications, when we select a date from the date picker it gets populated and after that we cannot de-select the date we can only change the date from one to another.

To clear the date from the fields we can just select the field and you can do backspace to clear the field value to select a different date or to keep it blank

It hasn't worked for me in the Model Driven App to do backspace. The record was saved in between. So I guess we have to use power automate to clear the date field there.
