Gathering Data from Form In Multiple Steps

Hi,

I have been tasked with developing a process flow for capturing bank account information (new accounts, changes or closures). The process will be initiated by our business units who will provide some of the data for a new account and then the request will go to another team who will provide additional account information and finally it will go to our team who will add the final data and input/upload the account into our database/software.

I am very new to Flows and I am trying to figure out if there is a template I can use or if this can even be done. Initially, I just need to the data from the form to come to us as a file (Excel or .csv) but ultimately I will need to have it load automatically to SharePoint.

Below is a high-level visual of the process flow:

BU completes form with their required  account data ---> Financial Reporting reviews and adds their required account data ---> Corp Finance receives data from (either separately or as concatenated from two teams) - this final step will need an approval step as well.

Can anyone tell me, based on this high-level description, if Flows can handle this?

Much appreciated!

Tim

    @timunit :

    There is nothing that you have described that can't be done by Flow - I am assuming that the data will be stored in SharePoint.  I appears as though your real issue is how you can collect the data from your users.  You might keep it simple and simply use out of the box SharePoint list forms:

    1. BU creates an entry in a SharePoint list with their data
    2. An email is sent by Flow to Financial reporting with a link to the SharePoint list item.  They then add their data
    3. A Flow fires and starts an approval with individuals in Corp Finanace named as approvers.

    You could enhance this solution by customizing the SharePoint list forms with PowerApps.
