How to default a choice field based on another field.

Hello, 

 

I'd like to have this choice field "issue status" change to acknowledged automatically when I enter someone to the "assigned to" field. Is this possible? Right now my choices for the status are requested, acknowledged, in process, and resolved.

    Hi @EMA03356,

    Do you want to update the status with acknowledged once you pick someone for "assigned to" field?

    Could you please tell me if someone is a special person or just anyone but not blank?

     

    I think you should use the When an item is created or modified.

    This applies if anyone is filled in, doesn't matter who.

    Do you know how to get the condition to apply if I put anyone in the people field as the assigned to person?
