Add dynamic content to draft email via Send HTTP request (Power BI)

Hi all! My flow intends to create a draft email using data and measures in my Power BI.

I want to add a name to my email subject dynamically (based on what is selected in my Power BI), but I am not sure how to go about doing it. If I try to add it in 'Compose', it creates an 'Apply to each' which I do not want.

This is my first time using Power Automate so I am pretty clueless about everything.

Appreciate all help, thank you!

Will each email's subject vary based on the name?

If so, then utilizing the "apply to each" action is appropriate.

If the [Name] field is common for all records, add a compose action above (even if it adds a loop). Use the output from the compose action in your email.

    Hi Sudeep,

Thanks for your response! I appreciate it.

I am only creating ONE draft email to be sent out.

The subject will vary depending on the Initiative Name selected in Power BI.

This is an example of my data table:

Initiative Name (What I want to add to Email Subject)SKU NameShipment
    AppleBanana123
    AppleCarrot456
    AppleStrawberry789

This is currently what happens if I try to add the Initiative Name from power bi dynamically in 'Compose'.

I do not see any output from the Compose action.

    Hope you can help, thanks!

    Ah ok!

Then, you should use a variable instead.

Populate the variable with the selected value and use the variable inside your email.

    Thanks Sudeep!

My apologies, I'm very new to Power Automate. How do I go about doing this? Do you have more specific instructions? Thanks!

Do you happen to know how I can add a URL link in the body of my email as well?
