Link to Folder

Hi,

Is there a way to Link to Folder that an applicable document is kept in or a way to do this similar as the LinktoItem dynamic content? There is dynamic content for folder paths but I have not found a way to add a link to these. My documents reside in different folders and locations so would like this to be dynamic.

Example:

Path: Knowledge Base/Admin Documents/Travel/ - I want to hyperlink this but needs to be dynamic based on where the file itself resides.

    Hi @Dharve24 ,

What is the Apply to each 2 for? If it's also iterating the results from Get files action, you shall merge Apply to each 2 and Apply to each 6.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-jefferni ,

Thank you for the support, I tried the above and the flow retrieves the folder path but it seems I cannot add it further down in my approval details action. It does not retrieve upon searching? I have other Compose actions in my flow and can retrieve these but not 'Compose 3' outputs? It may possibly due to the volume of Apply to All?

    substring(outputs('Get_file_properties')?['body/{Link}'],0,lastIndexOf(outputs('Get_file_properties')?['body/{Link}'],'/'))

    Hope that makes sense?

    Hi @Dharve24 ,

Could you please share more details about your scenario? I'm not aware of the logic in your flow. But, as soon as you can get dynamic content 'Link to item', it's easy to get the URL of the folder that a file is in.

it's just modifying Link to item to be Link to folder of item.

    Expression:

    substring(outputs('Get_file_properties')?['body/{Link}'],0,lastIndexOf(outputs('Get_file_properties')?['body/{Link}'],'/'))

    Best regards,
