Copy data from Excel to Excel

Hello network!

I would like your support to configure an automated cloud flow in which only copies new records from “SHEET 1” to “SHEET 2”.

In my attempts to configure the flow, an eternal loop has been created, where whenever “SHEET 1” is modified, all the lines already present in “SHEET 2” are copied back to this spreadsheet countless times.

Sorry for the translation, in case of poor agreement.

Copy data from Excel to Excel
    Hi Jeferson,

The issue you’re encountering occurs because the cloud flow lacks a mechanism to identify new records in "SHEET 1," resulting in an infinite loop where all records are continuously copied to "SHEET 2" whenever "SHEET 1" is modified. To resolve this, you can implement a solution with proper filters and checks.

Here’s how you can address this:
    1. Get Rows from "SHEET 2": Use the "List rows present in a table" action to retrieve all existing rows from "SHEET 2."
    2. Filter for New Records: Compare the unique identifier (e.g., RecordID) in "SHEET 1" with those in "SHEET 2." Use a condition to only process rows from "SHEET 1" that are not already present in "SHEET 2."
    3. Insert New Rows: Add only the filtered new rows to "SHEET 2" using the "Add a row" action

    Regards,
    Eddy.
