Hi,
Greetings..!!

I need to build a workflow on below criteria.
1. Excel file save in onedrive (contains Project manager Name with some other field).....file data change everyweek.
2. A sharepoint list which contains project manager email.

3. team dont need to enter email address of Project manager manually everyweek so i use sharepoint secondary list to fetch the email address.
4. SO i create new Sharepoint list.
I create the two flows ,one is to get the items from excel and second is for fetch PM email address from sharepoint secondary list.

Please check the screenshot :-

1. first Flow :-

and my second flow is :-

Now i need to merge both the flows in one flow.....

My email list and project list is :-

all the data in project list is coming from Excel file and email address of PM should pick from sharepoint email list,

i tried but need all these things in one Flow....also tried with add the "Get item" action under the "Create item" action inside the Apply to each

I tried with different expression in variable also :-
first(split(body('Get_item')?['ProjectManager'],'')) ......but dont get success......facing the below Erro.

kindly suggest the steps or screenshot for help.....i am very close to solve this one.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a whole screenshot about your flow's configuration?

Do you want to reference the ProjectManager dynamic content from the "Get item" action which inside the "Apply to each" action?

I found that you have post same issue within this forum, please check the following thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/send-email-by-user-name-in-Excel-file/td-p/134027/page/3

I think this issue is related to your flow's configuration. If you want to reference the ProjectManager Dynamic content from the "Get item" action (which is inside the "Apply to each") within the "Initialize variable PMFirstName" action (Outside the "Apply to each" action), I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs.

Referencing dynamic contents from a action which is within a "Apply to each" action in a action which is outside the "Apply to each" is not supported within Microsoft Flow currently.

As an alternative solution, please take a try with the following workaround:5.JPG

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hi @v-xida-msft

    Greetings..!!

    Thanks for reply.
I am writing below my needs again :-
    1. excel file contains some task (which is save in Onedrive)....everyweek this file will be change.
    2. file contains some project manager names (not email ID of project manager).
    3. requirement is send the mail to all project managers against their task and set the reminder (weekly or daily).
    4. for this i create a project manager list in sharepoint contains firstname , lastname , and Email address of all project manager (present in excel file in onedrive).
    5. second i create another sharepoint list for create item from excel file (onedrive) and need to retrieve Project manager email-ID from project manager list.
    6. then i have to send a mail based on conditions based of Excel data and create weekly reminder for them.
    .........
    .........
    7. now i use flow to merge all these steps in one flow....but not able to find the success.
could you please guide me....please let me know if you need any additional information.

    Regards
