Good Morning,
I have a Cloud Flow setup with the SharePoint "When an item is created" trigger. In theory, this should send an email notification to each of the assigned users when said file has been uploaded onto the specified SharePoint site.
I created the Flow a few months back, but had it turned off until now. As a means of testing it, I turned the Flow on with the intention of uploading a couple test files onto the SharePoint site. However, within a minute or two of turning the Flow on, it actually ran on about 80 items that had been uploaded onto the site way back on July 1st.
Since the trigger is set to "When an item is created", I'm a bit confused on why the Flow would've retroactively run for items that were uploaded (i.e.: created) 2+ months ago. The Flow ran without having even uploaded/created any new files this morning; my assumption is that it would've only run on any new files being uploaded onto the site.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
