Flow does not like Sharegate?

Hello,

I have a flow with Sharepoint item created trigger and the flow will not triggger when items are moved to the SPO list from another SPO list using ShareGate.

1. The flow triggers when a new item is added to the list using the default sharepoint new item form after  moving the items using ShareGate, the flow will trigger on the moved items.

2. The flow will not trigger in some cases even after adding a new item using the sharepoint form, I have waited more than 30 minutes.

I have tried both check/uncheck timestamp and author information option in sharegate.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

    Hello @ck25415,

Do you process multiple files at the same time or a single file?

    To investigate, we will need:

    - The flow that ran or didn't run

    - The timestamp + time zone in which a file was created but the flow did not trigger.

If you process multiple files at the same time, the information you need to know that changing in quick succession can be batched, there is no guarantee that every single edit of an item will result in a distinct flow run. SharePoint does this specifically to AVOID running multiple times when users change fields in succession.
