How to press a button automatically at the end of shift timings in PowerApps without using a Timer?

Hello All,

I have a PowerApps where all activities are recorded with Start Time and End Time based on a button click.  In most of the cases, people forgot to stop their activities. So, there is a need to stop it automatically once the shift timings are over. I have Shift Timings (From & To) of all the people.

 

Could please help me to stop the activity automatically once the shift timing is closed, without using a Timer/ without the Total hours per day. It should be based on shift timings completely as total hours may vary.

 

Could anyone give me a solution for it?

    Hi @Nisha_Innola ,

    The only way in Power Apps to get anything to trigger on a time basis is a Timer, so you would need to have a dynamic timer Duration based on whatever criteria you have, check if the activity is ended OnTimerEnd and if not, end it. The other alternative (probable messier) is to have a Flow check at intervals for unclosed activities and close them if over the allocated time.
