Question regarding using Automate to create a Teams Channel.

HI All
Hope you are all well and safe 🙂

I have used the Teams Actions to add users to a teams channel but
Can you use 'Create a channel' to make a sub channel in an existing one?
Do you have to Create a team first?
the reason for this is we use teams to add learner cohorts to but there is always a cross over so want to create a new sub channel in existing main teams channel every time a new cohort starts. (sorry lots of use of 'channel' )
if so some direction would be great 🙂
Thanks for any help
Gary

As far as I know, In Teams, you have the ability to create a Team, and Channels within that team (both can be done with Power Automate).

I have never heard of a 'sub-channel' in MS Teams, could you please elaborate?

    Thank you for responding

Just as you responded i realised what i was saying 😞
what i want to do is add users to a team then create a new channel in that team then allocate them to that channel.
so i assume that in my flow i need to
    Add user to team
    then Create Channel

Yep, totally possible.  You can add the users in the same step as creating the channel, but I don't think you can add people to an existing channel.
