Hi,

I'm having trouble with the Office 365 Outlook connector:

When I hit "Fix connection" I select my account (work account) and if I hover over the "!" I get the following message:

"Connection not found. Please create a new connection and change your application to use the new connection."

When I add a new connection I get "Invalid connection"

Please help!

Best,

Soph

    Hi Soph!

Do you happen to know if the particular user has at least an E3 Office license?
This can stop the connector from working and it will display the specific message you are receiving now.

If you have access to assign licenses you may be able to assign/adjust the license to an E3 access level that will create a mailbox for the account that will allow the connector to work.

Hi I've been having this issue since Monday as well. I'm on a corporate license and have been using flows for awhile and no issue with this connection, was there any change or updates? appreciate as I use flows very heavily for my work! thanks

    Hi 😁

I have been able to make a few test flows with the connectors functioning normally. I also tested this to see if I could generate my own error message by removing the license for a user and then using the connector. I did end up receiving the exact same error message as stated above, "Connection not found. Please create a new connection and change your application to use the new connection." To answer your question though, I have not seen any new changes or updates at the moment

Are you having this issue with a single user or multiple users? To test out the connector, try making a basic test flow with that connector to see if you receive the same error

Hi @SoSoLoFI , in my organization, we've a few users experiencing this issue. We've tried with both existing flows and creating a basic test flow - all other connections i.e. Sharepoint etc are working, except the connection to outlook. If our license was removed, the other connections should not work too right? Thanks for responding!

    No problem at all!

I was able to run a few tests this morning intentionally trying to get things to break. The biggest thing I found was that in removing an E3 or E5 license from a user it will stop the Outlook 365 connector from working. I misspoke in a previous message stating that the license needed to be at least an E3 license. It will be at least an E5 license that would be needed, which is a lower level license. In the same flow I added an Excel for Business connector and was able to test it with and without the license and it still works in both sets. The only outlier is the Outlook 365 connector and once I granted the license, the user was able to get the connector to work after about 5 minutes.

If you or another has admin privileges, you could the check the license of the affected users to make sure what licenses are in place.

thanks @SoSoLoFI  for the very detailed information and testing! I'll check with my organization as I'm far from admin privileges! 🙂

I also encountered same issue when was using Business Standard license. However, issue resolved after I use the Business Premium license for M365.
