Correct date format on Apps but incorrectly viewed on SharePoint

My app shows the correct date and time format but on my SharePoint page where I included the app, when an entry is stored , the date format ins't the same even when I've changed the regional settings on the SharePoint itself, why is that? How can I fix it?
